From Jobs Without Purpose or Drive to AI Frontlines:

My Journey to Transforming Business

 

The path to becoming an AI business owner wasn't linear, but the best journeys rarely are.

My career didn't start with a grand plan, it started with confusion and lack of direction. By 24, left uni with a degree I didn't know what to do with, had been made redundant twice and worked everywhere from River Island retail floors to Asda grocery aisles, pulled pints in university bars, and even stood in city centres holding PPI compensation signs. I danced the streets of London handing out coconut water, and worked for peanuts in the music & sports PR and marketing world. Each job felt disconnected from the last, a random collection of wage slips with no clear direction or purpose driving me forward.

My professional journey really began in the world of Finance and Fintech, where I spent a decade mastering the art of Business Analysis, Project Management, and strategic implementation. As a Consultant for a Big4 consultancy, I learned that successful transformation isn't just about technology, it's about people, processes, and purpose working in harmony.

​

The breakthrough moment came during my 5+ years as IT Program and Project Management lead at Soldo, followed by my role as Business Analyst on the Build the Bank program for the award-winning Allica Bank. I witnessed firsthand how the right technology, implemented thoughtfully, could eliminate the mundane and amplify human potential.

​

Today, as the AI Founder of Wonderland AI, Head of AAAUK, and Co-Founder of The AI Foundry, I've channeled this experience into a singular mission: making AI work for businesses, not against them. My approach isn't about replacing your workforce, it's about liberating them from repetitive tasks so they can focus on what truly drives growth: revenue-generating activities and meaningful work.

What sets me apart is my commitment to education over intimidation. Through my in depth non-technical workshops and my LinkedIn newsletter "AI & Chill," I break down complex AI concepts into friendly, jargon-free insights that everyday users and business leaders can actually understand and implement. Because the best technology is the kind that feels intuitive, not intimidating.
